Western Isles Diabetes Support Group

The Western Isles Diabetes Support Group meets four times per year via telephone, Zoom, MS Teams or face-to-face (e.g. in a cafe for a chat). However, anyone with diabetes who needs support or someone to talk to out with a group meetings can telephone one of the contact numbers listed. Anyone with an interest in Diabetes is welcome to get involved in the group.

Meetings are advertised in advance upon Social Media and within GP surgeries, libraries, shops, Western Isles Hospital and at Stornoway Health Centre.

An informal group, we are registered with Diabetes Scotland who support us by providing:
* opportunities to attend workshops/patient engagement days
* publications
* administrative and peer support, and links to the Diabetes Scotland Helpline.
